Back from the island.... It's been a few weeks since we have been back from our second UK tour. And again, it was a very intense experience. You can say, even more intense than last time. For the first time we were at the "Winter's End Festival" and it was a great success for us. We have gained many new friends and made great new contacts. Once again, we got incredibly support, in one case on an unbelievable scale. Dave Kennedy really made us speechless with his "support for the band". We still lack sufficient words ... There were even fans, who came to see us several times and drove across Wales and Scotland to do so. Insane! Topping things off, we had an unforgettable beautiful evening in Glasgow with our great colleagues and friends from "Long Earth". But we also do not want to forget that our "Scattered Over Europe Tour" has started out in Germany! We were back in Oberhausen, which slowly developes in a wonderful way to almost a home turf for us and we were for the first time at "Das Rind" in Rüsselsheim. Both gigs, together with "t", were really great and a lot of fun. During the change-over at each show we aired three songs from the new album. We will do that at the upcoming gigs as well, so pay attention and listen! Tom was really busy of late and had already recorded all the drum-parts for the new album before the UK tour kicked off. Now all the other band members are currently recording their parts for the album. Still, we do not want to reveal too much about the new album. In the interviews we did during the tour, we already talked about it a lot here and there. And it's not an exaggeration to say that people listened very intensely. What to expect from new album anyway...? It will be long and dramatic, like no album of ours before. It will be the first real concept album from this band , based on a true story. Maybe, if all goes well, there will be a lot to expect from this album visually as well. Before our tour continues in Gladbeck on August 30th, the band will be working in the studio, Yenz will perform with Thomas Thielen's band at Loreley on "Night Of The Progs" on July 20th, and (maybe) we will rehearse a little for the second part of the tour as well. You see, we are still here ...
